Paul Bramer grew up around the surf, sun, and beauty of America’s Finest City, San Diego, California. From the Pacific Coast to the local mountains and lakes, and with the advantage of enjoying the outdoors almost year round. Paul was able to use his passion for nature to aid him in focusing his artistic vision. Paul’s artistic power allowed him to see things that most of us would pass over without thought and translate to his canvas. His love for surfing, fishing and nature at work, plus his ability to capture all this through painting, has given his pieces the quality of real life.

As a creator, Paul has been able to develop a style of painting that is truly one of a kind. Paul had the idea while he was working with etched glass that he could paint on the glass. Through his own persistence and talent he was able to design and create the tools necessary to paint his one of a kind works of art. Over the past 25 years Paul Bramer has truly Mastered his self-taught technique of painting on glass.

It has been said that the difference between an artist and a master painter is their ability to control and use light to create a true masterpiece. As a Master Artist and Inventor, Paul has also expanded his talents into the areas of music, were he has taught himself to play the piano and wrote a few songs. Paul is also a sculptor and a master of gourmet dishes. Paul’s true passion, of course, are his glass pieces which can be seen in many restaurants, businesses, and homes throughout the United States, Mexico, and the Pacific Islands.

Collectors are drawn to Paul’s pieces because he is the only painter using his style medium. More importantly, because his paintings come alive. The beauty of natural sunlight and its ever changing moods gives each one of Paul’s pieces the power to impact the viewer in different ways as each hour passes.
